お米の文字がデザインになっている米刺し！

お星さまやかすみ草のような小さなお花にも見えます。

米の文字以外のところは、斜めの格子にしました。

他にもいろいろアレンジができると思います。

刺し子が発展したところはお水も綺麗で美味しいお米が有名ですね。

米 means rice in Chinese character.

It looks like a star or a little flower.

I combined them with a diagonal grid.

Rice stitch can go well with other designs.

Where Sashiko developed are well know for pure water and the high quality of rice.
